We manufacture

Aluminum, magnesium, and zinc die cast components, and offer
Precision in-house machining capabilities not available with most die casters: high-quality tight-tolerance work with complete to-print capabilities including finishing, subassembly, milling, tapping, drilling, painting, anodizing, and assembly. TCDC manages more than $7 million of outside services per year.

Primary Metals

Aluminum

The majority of die castings produced worldwide are made from aluminum alloys. Alloy 380 is by far the most widely cast of the aluminum die casting alloys, offering the best combination of material properties and ease of production.

Magnesium

Magnesium (Mg) has a specific gravity of 1.74 g/cc, making it the lightest commonly used structural metal. Combined with reasonably good strength and excellent corrosion resistance, Magnesium also offers longer die life.

Zinc

Zinc (Zn) alloy die castings offer a broad range of excellent physical and mechanical properties, castability, and finishing characteristics. Zinc alloy generally allows for greater variation in section design and for the maintenance of closer dimensional tolerances.
